Band "Whitar" is a Ukrainian elecronica project, started by Max aka Whitar (music, programming) and Oleg (guitar) in September 2008. When some material was ready, after couple of months they got the first gig offer in St. Petersburg, Russia, and demo tracks were met with positive comments within the network audience. For a year they performed with a vocalist, Alex, having 4 more shows in the western Ukraine. Theese were the early steps for the band, advertising themselves to the public and learning on errors.

​Max finished his first demo, OMERTA, in 2009. It had 5-6 tracks and was warmly accepted by Russian and Ukrainian public, giving a positive resonance in the post soviet electronic scene. The band draws great influence from electronic and metal acts from all over the world, searching for their own sound and trying to fit the scene.

​From 2009 Max is working solo. In 2010 a full 12 track album - Tracing Vacuum, was released. It was a strange experimental album, containing dark and slow evolving industrial tracks, thick and gloomy atmosphere, opening Whitar's unique sound.
Through the forthcomming year Max gave several shows as solo artist, took part in compilations and remixes.

In the 2011, Max was working with the Tunisian singer, Omar aka Lucem Fero to create a new album, surprisely different than previous CD, including heavily distorted vocal lines and crunchy guitar chords by Alex, mastermind of "Tyrant of Death". Titled "Equilibrium Path", the album, containing 9 harsh industrial tracks, came out on September 2011 with the help of Syntematik internet label, and earned a high rating from early followers, gained new fans  over the Ukrainian curtain.

But, the "E.P." left bipolar opinions, and had its criticism portion. Nevertheless, it had to be done, opening a next chapter for Whitar's sound explorations.  ​

New Whitar album, titled "Deliver Human" will see the world this year. It concentrates on cruelty that people inflict on themselves and others, apathy and misbelief. We'll take a trip into the futuristic, ambivalent worlds and landscapes of the vast human consciousness, melting in a strange musical acts of creepy noises, rythm and melody. We will deliver human being to it's enlightenment , just to drop down, swirling, to release his worst nature, the ignorant and cold "myself".  This time, taking a more experimental aproach to the sound and composing.
